The Central Statistics Division is a division under the CNMI Department of Commerce. The Division is also known as "CSD" or "STATS" Office. The Office was formally established by the Statistical Act of 1990, effective August 9, 1991.  The roles and duties of the Central Statistics Division are set forth under the CNMI Code, Title I, Chapter 9, Article 3, § 2483, and as modified by EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 94-3.
